• PDSA – the UK’s largest veterinary care charity in the UK, their tagline is “for pets in need of vets”. PDSA provides free veterinary care for over 350,000 pets each year.

• RSPB – also known as the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, the charity now has over 1 million members across the globe.

• The Aspinall Foundation – best known for their work with gorillas, The Aspinall Foundation also manages two animal parks in Kent.

• The Blue Cross – an animal welfare charity that is similar to PDSA except that they also take part in active campaigning on behalf of animal rights.

• WSPA – a global animal welfare charity working towards building a “global animal welfare movement”.

• WWF – over 5 million members, their mission is a simple one – the conservation of nature.
